An assistant window-dresser, inadvertently adopts a four-year-old orphan at a cost of ten-dollars a week, but Willie doesn't make ten-dollars a week. With the help of a beautiful young nurse, our hero manages to turn some corners and improve his life, albeit with some skids along the way.
